Boys and girls from all over the world come to study in our city. Bologna, recently elected “the most beautiful University in Europe” by the Times Higher Education (2018), is the city that hosts more Erasmus students in Italy par excellence (2016). Within its walls there are many different and equal worlds at the same time and the capital of Emilia is thus rediscovered not only by the dynamic Bolognese but also by international students from every corner of the planet.
DineHome is a project that brings to the table, face to face, two spectacular and sincere desires: the desire of the Bolognese to speak a foreign language – perhaps one that has been studied for years at school – traveling, knowing and the desire of Erasmus students to discover a new city, Bologna, entering the sinuous and deep meanderings of the millenary culture imbued with the red bricks of its buildings.
With DineHome Bologna welcomes and unites, becoming a theater for meetings and dinners. What has often been called the Italian gastronomic capital invites its guests to dinner, offers them its delights, curious to listen and share life stories.
A form of light, secure and totally free hospitality based on values such as hospitality and the feeling of “citizens of the world” which translates into a dinner together once a week. A dinner that gives the Bolognese families and especially the younger children new cultural horizons without having to move from home.
Becoming a host family for one dinner a week is simple: once you have chosen the foreign language you want to speak and the day of the week when you have dinner together, you will immediately be put in touch with an Erasmus student of your choice of nationality and you will start a fantastic and fun adventure of growth, sharing and exchange for the whole family in the name of internationality.
